Over St. Patrick’s Day weekend our crew stayed busy shooting footage of the 2012 Yuengling Shamrock Marathon. The luck o’ the Irish must be with those runners…who would ever voluntarily run 13.1, let alone 26.2 miles?! Oh right…one of our fellow OEA’ers, Lauren Wilson!
We had a total of 11 cameras shooting coverage of the course and the runners including:
- 2 lead car cameras
- 2 go-pro runner cams
- 1 camera getting time-lapse
and 3 shooters on bikes totaling well over 50 miles of course footage
And of course the OEA’er who ran the half marathon finished with a PERSONAL RECORD!!! (2 hours, 10 min & 47 sec)
We have a couple of behind the scene photos but there’s much more to come. The video we did for last years race has over 10,000 views so we’ve got our work cut out for us to top it! When it’s ready for your viewing pleasure, we’ll be sure to post it here and on facebook. So keep checking back!
